Every year my Lego train club does a small layout at the Ohio Statehouse for its tree lighting ceremony. This year our layout was right in front of the governor’s office. After troubleshooting some electrical problems on the layout, I hastily left this note for the governor who, shortly after winning the 2010 election, proclaimed that “passenger rail is not in Ohio’s future”. The passenger train behind it is a replica of one which used to run in Ohio.
